Transfer Center
Transfer Services
The Transfer Centers provide comprehensive services to assist students interested in transferring to four-year colleges and universities. Services include counseling, workshops, and events that provide information on admissions requirements, how to apply, application deadlines, and the transition to the university environment. This information is provided for institutions in California’s public university systems (University of California and California State University), private colleges, and out of state options. The Transfer Centers conduct an annual college fair on each campus in the fall with university recruiters from a variety of colleges and universities. In the spring, there is a college fair with private colleges and universities. The Centers also have computers dedicated for the use of students interested in transferring. Students can access ASSIST, an online articulation system that lets students know the major preparation requirements for California public universities both in the University of California and California State University system. It also has general education requirements for UC (IGETC) and CSU (CSU Breadth). Students can also access Eureka to take self-assessments, explore careers, and see which colleges and universities have majors and programs that suit their career goals.
