The MSJC Libraries offer you access to textbooks for most courses, books and eBooks, journals and magazines, as well as article and streaming video databases—all free of charge!
If you want to know more about using these resources, librarians can show you how to develop great research skills to complete your projects and answer your questions quickly and effectively. Stop by the Research Desk or drop in to one of our workshops to learn tips and strategies.
Peer Research Assistants (PRAs) are also available to help you build your skills in navigating your research assignments. They are fellow students who can help with the beginning stages of research, including:
choosing a topic
creating a research outline
navigating the databases to search for resources
developing search strategies
Whether you are studying alone or working on a group project, the libraries offer flexible study spaces. Stop by the Circulation Desk for information on group study rooms.
Both libraries offer free use of computers and WIFI. Printing and copying costs $.10-.40 (b&w or color). You can print from our computers or from your own devices.
