Facilities Management Certificate
The Facilities Management Certificate will be awarded for the completion of 8 core courses for a total of 24 units. This certificate will prepare students for employment in the Facilities Management profession. This profession ensures that facilities are operationally sound and maintain the needed resources and financing to ensure productive functioning. The primary management functions of planning, organizing, directing, and organizational change will be identified and analyzed throughout the program. The core competencies for this profession include communication, project management, budgeting skills, supervisory skills, analytical and technical skills, and the ability to identify and solve business problems.
