Logistics

Program Description

Logistics is the backbone of global commerce—ensuring that goods move efficiently from manufacturer to customer, across cities, countries, and continents. Professionals in this field are the problem-solvers and planners behind every delivery, warehouse, and inventory system.

At MSJC, our Logistics program prepares students for dynamic careers in supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and e-commerce operations. With a curriculum grounded in real-world applications, students gain practical skills in logistics coordination, inventory control, safety and compliance, warehouse technology, and sustainability.

Students learn to navigate the fast-paced world of logistics through hands-on experiences, simulations, and analysis of current industry trends. Whether it’s managing a warehouse, optimizing last-mile delivery, or designing an efficient supply chain, our graduates are equipped to tackle the challenges of today’s logistics landscape.

MSJC’s Logistics program supports students on the path to immediate employment or further study, opening doors to careers in distribution, transportation, and supply chain analytics. Join us and become a vital part of the systems that keep the world moving.

Transfer Preparation

Transfer students are advised to do research on prospective majors and careers. The MSJC Transfer Center and MSJC catalog can be helpful tools. Students interested in transferring to CSU’s or UC’s can access major preparation by visiting ASSIST. All students are advised to meet with a counselor at least once a semester to create or update their comprehensive education plan.
