Gerontology: Health and Aging Technology Certificate
The Healthcare and Aging Technology Certificate focuses on healthcare technology and gerotechnology, preparing students to work in various settings where they can harness technology to enhance the independence and well-being of older adults. Graduates of this program will be equipped to contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies in healthcare, enabling older adults to age in place comfortably and securely. Employment opportunities may arise in healthcare facilities, research institutions, technology companies, and organizations dedicated to improving the lives of older adults. The Gerontology: Health and Aging Technology Certificate will be awarded for the completion of three courses for a total of 9 units.
