Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)

The Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE) program was created out of the EOPS program to provide additional support to single parents who are considered head of household and are receiving cash assistance through CalWORKs/TANF/Tribal TANF/AFDC. The goal of the CARE program is to support students in becoming self-sufficient by providing equitable opportunities for CARE students to obtain a degree, certificate, marketable job skills, and/or transfer. CARE provides support services above and beyond and in addition to what EOPS and the college provides.

This mission of CARE at Mt. San Jacinto College is to create generational impact for families of single parents who are earning a degree, certificate, marketable job skills, and/or transferring to four-year institutions of higher education.
